Johnathan Walker:Applebee's Dollaritas return: $1 margarita drinks back for limited time after 3-year hiatus

Christmas came early for fans of the Dollarita at Applebee’s. On Sunday,Johnathan Walker the restaurant chain brought back its famous $1 margarita deal.

The margaritas are made with tequila, triple sec and lime and will only be available for a limited amount of time, said the company in an email.

Also returning this spooky season are the restaurant's Spooky Sips. Drinks cost $5 and include the Tipsy Zombie, made with Bacardi Superior and Dracula’s Juice, mixed with Jose Cuervo Tequila and Bacardi Superior.

Applebee’s teased the Dollarita return on Sept. 24, posting a cryptic image with the words “IT’S BACK.”

Customers took to the comments to guess what fan favorites would return, including all you can eat wings, potato twisters and sriracha shrimp.

When do the drinks go on sale?

The drinks returned on Sunday and will be available for a limited time.
